Mark Williams is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who has been practicing since 2021. Mark earned bachelor’s degrees in Biopsychology and Cognitive Science from the University of Michigan and in Nursing from Grand Canyon University, and has earned his master’s degree from the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program at Walden University. Mark has dedicated several years of service at the bedside in the areas of med/surg, ICU, and Trauma ICU, before deciding to focus his efforts in mental health, an area where there is great need. Mark provides psychiatric care and medication management for teenagers and adults for various mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, and ADHD. His approach to care is holistic, and seeks to connect with the person, not just treat the diagnosis. Outside of work, Mark enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 young kids, vacationing on the California beaches or up north in the mountains, enjoys mountain biking, playing guitar, and is a dedicated fan of University of Michigan football.
