Corey Mayberger, MD

Dr. Corey Mayberger is a psychiatrist who has been practicing since 2001. He has a Medical Doctor degree (MD) from University of Nebraska Medical Center and a BS in Biology from University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He graduated from medical school in 1997 and then completed a 4-year Psychiatry Residency at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center (now Banner University) in Phoenix. He practiced for 6 years in Emergency Psychiatry following the completion of his residency. He then moved back to his hometown in Nebraska and practiced inpatient and outpatient psychiatry for 5 years. Subsequently, he moved back to Arizona and worked in the SMI (seriously mentally ill) system for 6 years. Dr. Mayberger treats adult patients between the ages of 18 and 70 with a primary focus on Mood and Anxiety Disorders. He prefers to simplify medication regimens and deprescribe medications in appropriate cases. Outside of work, Dr. Mayberger enjoys photography, cars, and spending time with family and friends.
