Elijah is a licensed master of social work who has been in the mental health field since 2009. Elijah graduated with his Masters in Social Work from ASU in 2014. Elijah is trained in multiple, evidence-based therapeutic techniques; EMDR (for traumatic events), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), cognitive processing therapy (CPT) for complex trauma among veterans and first responders and Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) among many others. In relationship/ couples therapy, Elijah uses Imago, Gottman, and attachment theories to help navigate conflict resolution and connectedness. Elijah specializes in Trauma, mindfulness, LGBT, Transgender, HIV, mood disorders, relationships, polyamory, sexual health/kink, veterans/active duty/first responders. Elijah prides himself on serving as a conduit to you and your healing. Elijah uses empathy and a judgement free zone when it comes to healing. In his spare time, Elijah is involved in the greater LGBTQ community through activism, fundraising, performing, storytelling, and philanthropy.
