Adding Menus and Launch Scripts

Project 3, Adding Menus and Launch Scripts, shows you how to configure the Menus panel in JExpress to setup a Windows menu and desktop icon, a Mac desktop icon, and/or a Unix launch script.

You can easily create a startup script or menu for...

• a Java class that's not in a package
• a Java class that is in a package
• a Java app that you usually start with the -jar command
• a non-Java application

This tutorial does not create a fully functional project, but only shows how to create menus for different applications. To learn how to create a full project with JExpress, use one of the other tutorials: Project 1 or Project 2
